Human Anatomy: Prosection with Clinical Correlates for Practicing Clinicians

Course Date: Saturday, May 30, 2026 This 8-hour continuing education course offers a unique opportunity for clinicians to deepen understanding of musculoskeletal and neurovascular anatomy through hands-on exploration of cadaveric prosections. Designed for physical therapists and other rehabilitation professionals, the course bridges foundational anatomical knowledge with clinical application. Participants will examine key structures of the axial and appendicular skeleton while exploring the three-dimensional relationships between muscles, joints, ligaments, and neurovascular pathways that influence movement, pain, and dysfunction. Emphasis is placed on correlating surface landmarks with underlying anatomy to enhance palpation accuracy, understanding the anatomical basis of common nerve entrapments and musculoskeletal disorders, and connecting structural insights to orthopedic examination, special testing, and manual therapy techniques. Through guided instruction and clinical discussion, participants will translate cadaver-based observations into improved clinical reasoning, examination, and treatment planning.
