Lumbopelvic Region: Clinical Reasoning, Evaluation, and Clinical Management

Course Dates: Sept 11-13, 2026 This three-day course provides an evidence-informed, clinically integrated approach to the examination and management of individuals with lumbopelvic pain and dysfunction. Emphasis is placed on clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis, including screening for serious spinal pathology, recognition of red flags, pain mechanisms, and application of current clinical practice guidelines and decision-making frameworks for low back pain. Participants will integrate patient history, movement and functional assessment, physical examination findings, and psychosocial considerations to develop individualized management strategies. Laboratory experiences emphasize the selection, performance, and interpretation of examination procedures and the application of evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, movement-based approaches, patient education, and psychologically informed strategies. The course also addresses the sacroiliac joint and pelvic girdle, integrating relevant anatomy and biomechanics with examination, pain provocation testing, and intervention approaches.
