Movement Integration

Course Dates: May 30-31, 2026 This course provides a focused review of the Functional Approach to movement analysis as described by the Prague School, alongside the Movement Impairment System developed by Shirley Sahrmann. Participants will perform postural examinations of key regions—including the lumbopelvic, foot, and cervicoscapular areas—with emphasis on identifying predicted impairments and selecting appropriate confirmatory tests. The course also explores essential functional movement assessments in standing, guiding clinicians in interpreting findings and refining hypotheses through targeted testing. Through discussion and clinical reasoning, participants will integrate assessment results into evidence-informed treatment planning, utilizing the Functional Management Pyramid as a framework for clinical decision-making. Emphasis is placed on neuromuscular training strategies for the lumbopelvic, foot, and cervicoscapular regions to support efficient movement and optimal functional outcomes.
